Matt Callahan
Designer and Researcher
As an industrial designer and inventor, I am especially interested in the future of sustainable product design. I have three years of experience designing consumer goods professionally, and am always looking for opportunities to continue to learn, work hard, and collaborate with great people.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double Major in Sculpture, and Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy, and I have also attained a Masters in Industrial Design from Parsons The New School for Design. I have a passion for studying human behavior and creativity from a truly diverse range of perspectives.
I have experience working in large design firms and international corporations, and also have experience working on agile teams in small product design studios. My responsibilities and capabilities have varied, and I greatly enjoy taking on new challenges and building new skills. I have been fortunate for opportunities to do research and design for some of the most prestigious organizations in the world, including the Smithsonian Institution, IBM Design, Washington University Medical School, and many more.
When I'm not designing, drawing, or imagining futuristic inventions, you can find me outside adventuring around the world - biking, camping, climbing, fishing, playing guitar, and hanging out with friends.
